Our Stress Management Service
Stress symptoms can affect your body, feelings, and behaviour. Stress can cause many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and diabetes. The physical effects of stress can induce headache, muscle tension or pain, chest pain, fatigue and sleep problems. Stress also effects mood to increase levels of irritability, restlessness and anxiety.
All sorts of situations can cause stress. The most common involve work, money matters and relationships with partners, children or other family members. Stress may be caused either by major upheavals and life events such as divorce, unemployment, moving house and bereavement, or by a series of minor irritations such as feeling undervalued at work or dealing with difficult children. Sometimes there are no obvious causes. Our Stress Management service is provided with partner organizations with qualified psychologists aimed at supporting you with our app and 1-2-1 calls to help improve your health and wellbeing and managing your stress.
Contents of Package :
Over the 4 week period the service will cover a range of self help themes. These will all relate to your health and wellness and will be focused around your needs. In summary some of the themes covered will be :
Week 1 – Understanding situations, and coping techniques / Activity Management
Week 2 – 6 Ways to Well being / Mindfulness
Week 3 – Stress management / thought challenging
Week 4 – Problem Solving / Relapse Prevention
